This beautiful antique chaise long was a recent project we undertook, the task to breathe new life into this sad looking antique.

After stripping the old fabric we took stock of the work needed on it’s interior. We had to re-strap and repair springs, we also replaced the foam padding to make it more comfortable. Finally, we  upholstered in this beautiful cream fabric chosen by the client with help from our design team using our wide range of fabric books.

We added the braid work to give an extra detail around the edge and finally polished the wood to bring out the gorgeous colour. I think you’ll agree it is a rags to riches story for this elegant piece of furniture.
